UOX & UOXC Shards are the ones i've enjoyed most so UOX. POL is very good but lacks compatibilities with newer clients (and with third dawn) and as UOX is getting shit compared to UOXc i vote 4 UOXC

I know that many of you are asking that very question. So, I thought I would take the time and fill everyone in on the current status of the next release.

1. Many and many fixes and additional features have been added since 1.2b and a few are still being hammered out. Runebooks, New walking code that also allows water NPCs to exist now, and a whole slew of new trigger tokens ( 17 in all that are fully implimented with more on the way! )

2. Documentation is completely obsolete! I have contacted a few people reguardign the old documentation that I had to base UOX Classic off of, to see if they had any more info and to my surprise I did receive some info that was completely unknown to us all. So, the documentation will get a huge facelift and rewrite on many portions (May not be completely rewritten but much more info will be added than previously). Also, I will try to include examples of use on many of the scripting command/tokens for better understanding... a few of you requested that, so I'll try to deliever on that

3. Im hoping to be able to include some documentation on gumps as well. I'm hoping to see the completed work of the online gump from Kidagakash. I planned on usin that as a basis for the documentation on the gumps but who knows for sure when he can finish it.

4. Im working on a few new scripts as well... turning out ot be a much bigger job then I thought, so far its taken me about 2 weeks longer than I expected and Im still putting together the ground work. With a minor setback as well... lack of trigger token support, until Cyberspud coded them for me (Thanks again!) Now work can resume on the project.

5. Bug fixes... So far the head stacking bug IS fixed. It wasnt limited to just the head, it affected every part of the chopped up body. I also beleive that the combat bug where you could attack a target on a level higher than you and not get attacked back (Z combat bug) is fixed from what I read on the CVS but, I havent confirmed that with Cyber yet. Execution of trigger words is now working, NPC animals making excessive noise can now be limited thru the server script, a seed up of pet following has been added as well, player hunger is working once again, Machingun archery by use of tab key in combat is also fixed. Along with the bug fixes there are several code optimizations and the console has been cleaned up. Oh yes, I almost forgot, both Hbbtstar and Cyberpud added 'skill add systems' basically at the same time without realizing it HAHA Both systems are going to be included for a simple reason. Both only allow you to have an item modify 1 (one) skill, but if you use both systems on the same item, you can now have a item that can change two skills!! Imagine having a sword that adds to your swords skill AND your tactics!! Or a mages staff that increases your magery by 10% but has a down side... decreases your magic resistance because of the sudden rush of magical power the staff holds! (possibilities are now endless!!)

6. How does everything affect stability? Personally while working on the Official shard, I have had the shard crash on me one time. And that was with the 1.2b exe. I have not yet had a single crash with the new code found on the CVS.

Overall... UOX Classic is going to rule the EMU scene! My opinion of course but, what else what you expect me to say? I'm sure theres a lot more that I forgot about of that I intentionally left out for a nice surprise for everyone. Youll just have to wait and see. No set time has been made for the release but I have started putting it altogther, so be patient... Its coming!
