Post Gas Prices
Reply

Can somebody give me some insight about the gas situation we are having here in North America. I understand that our prices are about to spike, and keep spiking until summer (natl. avg. is supposed to be around 2.50 per gallon, regular). But why?

--And what is the average price for a gallon where you live, Here in North fla it's right at 2.00 which is about 15 cents higher than it was last week, and it's supposed to keep going up.

Here in southern Minnesota it's around $1.95 per gallon, and that's just low grade.

Problem is, even thought the IRAQ war was in every way the worst decision in American history, we haven't gotten shit out of it, except higher taxes, unwanted "security measures" around our country, and HIGHER GAS PRICES (along with inflation.) What a joke, and he suggests spending even more money to drill Alaska, (which they have already started doing). Goddamn I hate Bush

In Antioch, CA (Bay Area -- About an hour from San Francisco for location reference) it's 2.15 for me, I use Unleaded Plus.

Maybe tonight we'll fly so far away... We'll be lost before the dawn...

Yeah that's seriously a bummer, but positively we are alot cheaper than European countries that pay like 8 bucks a gallon, but shit, we're the biggest importer of gas in the world, and we use the most, wtf, ours should be cheaper. Goddamn opec.

A gallon is about 3.8 litres yes???
8 bucks is about £4.20 (in English money).

We pay 80p per litre.

One gallon (of unleaded petrol) costs us around £3.04 which is...about $5.85...

Not quite $8...
