What im going to do is every day or so ill post a new question, and we can all answer them and have good fun
September 11th happened?
I was waking up from my mom yelling at me, omg they terrorists bombed the world trade center, quickly i was like... and? i didnt know what the 'world trade centers' were before 9/11. Quickly turned my school into a watch the tv all day center, where we voted on things and stuff - turned very political.
My cousin had actually came into our classroom and interrupted the class and went to talk to the teacher privately. I joked around with him telling him he was fucking up our education, sadly I didn't know what was going on.

I was in 9th grade and all the other grades were having ISTEP tests so the freshman were allowed to go on a field trip. So, when I heard the devastating news I was on a school bus on my way to a cornfield maze. We were forced to turn around and go back to the school because they were scared of more suicide bombings. I always thought, "Wouldn't a cornfield maze be safer than a school if they decide to attack?" but we got back to the school and just watched TV all day like you guys. Endless footage of the madness...
I was in 3rd grade and the whole school day went by like nothing happened. I get home from school and my Dad's in front of the tv staring at footage of the World trade centers being hit and collapsing. I didn't know what had happened and why he was all solemn and serious until he told me. At that age I didn't have a clue what even a terrorist was.
Haven't a clue where I was when it happened, but I can remember overhearing some Sixth Formers talking about it - I'd just finished football practice and was in the changing room. As a little Year 7 having just started school, I didn't dare talk to the big Sixth Formers. Got home and forgot everything about it... until me mam turned the news on and said that a couple of planes had flown into some buildings in America.

I find it interesting how things are different in our respective countries.
After 9/11, it seems like everyone dropped what they were doing and spent the day watching the news. When London was brought to a standstill by the July 7th bombings (another schoolday), however, school went on as normal - the only coverage we got during lessons was the odd F5'ing of the BBC news page between PowerPoint slides.
I was on my way to visit my Nana..... who lives in New York City. I was on a charter bus and it was turned around and we went back home. I was just a little kid so I was crying that I wasn't going to get to see me Nana. It was the first time we have ever plugged the TV into an antenna and watched the news on it.

I was riding a quad the day after christmas in 2001. We made a shitty ramp that looked like this
/\ as opposed to this ....-----''''''''''''''''''-----......
I hit that thing a full speed, and to my knowledge this is what happened. I hit the ramp, the front tires nose dived as the backones hit. Sending me flying to the ground, the quad continued to fly through there air where it slammed into my head, causing me to roll. the quad finally landed on all fours where it continued to speed accross my lifeless body.
Blacked out and had no idea what was going on. The doctors said i had
> I seperated my sternum
> fraction my 2 right lower ribs
> had a concussion
> had mild amnesia
I didnt exactly break the bone, but im going to go ahead and say fractures count. so...
Where were you when you You broke your first bone.
well i've never broken anything, but i did fracture/sprain my left hand middle finger. i was playing basketball in 9th grade, put my hands out to catch the ball and it bent my finger back. it was bruised and i had to get one of those splint things on it. i still have problems cracking the knuckle on that finger lol.
