If you flame/bash/harass a new member, yes.
If you do nothing but flame/bash/harass people, yes.
If you occasionally flame outside of the flame forum, no.
If you spam, no.
On most cases, I've been fair and given fair warning.
Thanatos got a 1 day ban from me after being warned, which was upped to a 5 day ban by Grav. He was later banned for a day for flaming outside of the flame forum(if I remember right.) He wasn't warned then, and I apologized for that, because I should have given him fair warning.
Slaynish got banned for a while by WW for posting a drawing of a penis(I was the one who gave him the idea, and I didn't think it was a big deal, but WW felt differently.)
Klo has gotten a few bans for flaming outside of the flame forum, with warnings to accompany them. She kept it up and got herself permabanned, even given a warning then and told if she would stop she could come back. She refused, and until she grows up she's going to stay banned.
Kaneda only got banned because either him or Klo was flaming on his account right after Klo got banned.
As far as I know, that's all of the bannings that have happened(unless I'm forgetting any). And every single one of them has a valid reason behind it. People just don't like taking responsibility for their actions. People also think that the lack of activity around here lately somehow makes them immune to being banned.
Klo came right out and told me I couldn't ban her because we need her activity to keep this place alive. She was wrong.
