Question Questions About RPGMXP
Reply

I just downloaded RMXP yesterday, and I'm wondering wether or not I should switch to some of the older versions. Some things that I'm trying to put in my game are:

1)Movies for opening sequence/cutsenes

2)Sideview Battles with avatars of the characters

3)voiceovers for importannt parts in the game and moves in battle.

Speaking from experience, go for RM2K3.

Out of the two it's the best. Sure, RMXP has better graphics, but a good graphics maker can toss together some great things for RM2K3...and it's not as annoying.

1) Doesn't exist in RMXP, but does in RM2k3

2) Doesn't exist in RMXP (unless you want to mess with coding it in RUBY), but does by default in RM2k3

3) You can do this in either one

Also, RM2k3 is just better overall for making an RPG without having to deal with coding too much.
