I vote LCD. The quality of a LCD screen is far better than a CRT screen. And it takes up far less room.

Why take up a whole room with a hulking great CRT monitor or TV, when you can hang an LCD screen on the wall?

So yeah, LCD is better than CRT any day.

An LCD has nothing on a high quality CRT. Also, if you're into gaming, you'll want a really low response time LCD, which typically only come in small 17 or 19'' sizes, else the ghosting will drive you nuts. Also, you'll be happy with a huge CRT, which can be had for much less than a less huge LCD. Also, if you have the money and are an uber snob hardcore, get a huge HDTV, and hook up your computer to it.

Go for huge CRT though...like uber million inches of penis size CRT. Your retinas will be like

Also, in America we like our things big and wasteful. CRT.

Voted CRT
Last longer, no dead pixels to irritate you.

Better refresh rates and resolutions

More solid graphics

Cheaper so you can get better hardware to go with your better graphics

That's like saying Desktop or Laptop.

Yea, because things should typically be dealt with in absolutes no matter what the situation is, right?

No, not every situation: "Would you like ham & cheese or peanut butter & jelly?"

Oh and touchée BTW.

One of the best CRTs ever runs for $600. You can't get a killer LCD for that.

I'd pick a nice big 20 inch CRT over an LCD any day. BUT! If I'm using my dual monitor hookup, 2 LCDs are better. Normaly I just game on my laptop though and use my pc as my server.
