I just got it today. I know Tidus2005 and Glory Gamer both have it. It's a sweet game. I've not played Battlefield for computer but this one is similar for the most part. Anyone else play it online?

I think it's definately worth it. The damn servers are fucked up to hell though. Right now and for the last hour they have been completely down.

I was going to get the PC version when I got my new compuer about a month ago, but I held off since most of my friends were getting the xbox version. The servers are back up and once they work out the kinks this game will be awesome.

Okay... well it's basically battlefield 1942 but with modernized weaponry. There are 2 modes, conquest and CTF. The most common is conquest. Each map has 5 or 6 strong points called "flags." You stand by them for a period of time until you have captured it. You also use these flags as spawn points of your choice. Once you control more points than the enemy, their tickets start to go down. Each team starts with somewhere between 400-500 tickets. Each respawn also takes a ticket. You can drive tons of vehicles ranging from a pickup truck to a helicopter to a boat. It's pretty sweet. It supports 24 people per game.

It's not mindless combat like Quake. It's all team-based objective games.

There are 2 modes, CTF which is self explanitory. And then there is conquest, which is the most common. There are strong points you must capture and use as spawn points and if you control more points than the enemy they lose about a ticket every 2 seconds.

Hmm, actually seems pretty interesting. I'd probably have to play solo shit to get acquainted with it at first, but the 24 people in a game sounds ridiculously fun!

You have to save up for the X360 before H3, though.

It's fun... you guys should get it. However, the servers are very buggy at the moment. For some reason, everytime tidus2k5 logs off it resets all of his stats.

Do the stats actually matter in this game, or is it kind of a pointless number thing like Halo?

It's a pointless number thing more or less. You can play on servers with people the same level as you if you are higher up but that's the only perk I've found of being higher level.
