What I just heard on the news..

Was listening to the radio and I heard the news segment they have and the first story was, "A baby girl was thrown 400 feet into a canyon when she was ejected from a truck. The mother was driving and is said to have crashed." Why the fuck is this news?

I dont know... Thats really shitty though, both for the situation and the fact that its on the news.
