Dude. YOu're dumb.

The subs you have are OK, but go for more speakers. You need to get a box built, and modified. You need the wiring exact. You cant just ' do it yourself '. I recomment getting all the shit ( the wood for the box, the wires, the electric tape ), and going to first a Mechanic(with all the things in the trunk) and ask for advice. Ask them what the dimensions of the box have to be, and ask them how much everything will cost (wiring setup, etc)... Go to your schools Woodshop teacher, ask him if you can pay him like 30$ to build the box, and get it all specified. If not, have fun doing it yourself. Systems are expensive as fuck. Not everything can be done on Paypal, sorry buddy, but you screwed yourself on this one : \.

I think you should get a new Stero, not just speakers and amps and stuff, but get the little shit first, then go for the bigger shit that cost more. Buy some Neons, buy the cop-radar. Buy the cop-receiver(receives messages sent from police to police, its fun for watching Gang fights, or robberies, or things like that :P). Save up for a tune-up, to get ubar miliage, and make sure you have pleanty of $$$ to get oil changed every so months.

Dont just think it will be like building a computer. A car is a palace, which i know not that much about, but its a lot harder than you think owning a car. Well, pimping it out. (Btw, my knowledge about pimping out cars goes just a little more than the average Pimp My Ride watcher has, not really, i know a little more than that). Ask D3V, hes pretty knowledgable. Even though u have him, hes pretty cool when it comes to vehicles.

If you REALLY want to make it pimpin, get a Metallic paintjob, or a sun-changing paintjob.

I meant buy all the speakers, subs, tweeters, and leave the wiring and installation to the custom audio place down the street.

It's fine to do yourself if you actually know how. But since koas is a lazy basterd I don't think that's going to happen.
koas you need an amp, a deck, and speakers, the woofer/s(which you have). That's a basic system.

Make sure that the amp you buy, has enough output to properly power your subs, and speakers. I'd suggest going to a Best Buy or something and takling to them about it all as if your going to buy something... which amp should you get for your subs, and the speakers you want, ect.

Peoples taste's in music differ so their needs for a sound system will differ. I have 4 sony xplode 6.5" speakers, 2 infinity tweeters hidden in the door vents, and audiobahn 10" sub in a custom box along with a rockford 600W amp. It's all controlled with a poineer headunit. I will never win any db drags but it works well for me. I'm extremely happy with it.

BTW> save your money and install/wire it yourself, it's pretty easy to do.

from the thread I made in sportscar....

Right in the car you drive...w/ the license the DMV issued to a 12 year old...
People's tastes in music differnt ya, but a system is going to play all music good. If it's a good system. I'm sure he's going for the typical "bumping" type anyways...like anyone.

Fuck Best Buy. I've spent over $250 there on my audio shit and I STILL don't have music. Fuck Best Buy.

You can in no way compare me to D3V, just cause I was pointing out a somthing stupid about your post? I've always done that. I'll be a fucktard all I want on here, just to piss you off how about that? Hmm. I don't even talk on AIM except for a few people on here once in a while mainly you! Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo unless your my buttbudy, SUCK IT. You have no relevant way to insult me.

Actually, don't compare you to me, ever.

I'd go for a pair of 6x9's for the mids, a pair of 51/4's for Highs, a pair of Tweaters for more highs, now you can get a small 100watt amp for the tweaters, go for a 150-200 watt for the 51/4's and 6x9's.

You'll also need some subs, depending on what you need, and what you want, if you want more base, go Bandpass box. YOu can have shitty power and crappy speaks but massive bass. But if you listen to more rock compared to rap or techno, go openbox, possibly get a grille or just plain open.

Hi guys. My dad's car uses a stock Sound System. So does my mom's. We never turn the dial more then 1/3 way.

Stop wasting money to show off.

Thanks.

I've been liking the AW12Q's I think they're called, by Audiobahn. They're 12" subs, fiber glass cone, rubber surround, 700W RMS... They sound really nice and go for a good price at 96.00 each. In my front I have two 6.5" Sony xPlode 4-way speakers (meaning it has the cone for bass + 3 tweeters), in the back I have Pioneer 6x9 4-ways (because Pioneer 6x9's are fucking awesome, I'm never changing them!!) and I have a HiFonics 400W RMS 2ch amp powering half my speakers on one channel, the other half on the other channel, and I am soon getting two Audiobahn 800-1000W RMS amps I haven't decided yet, that's the only thing I have left to buy. One for each sub. When you get your amp make damn sure it has circuit protection (ie blowout, feedback, etc) and one or two air intake intercooling fans to keep it from overheating. Oh yeah, also make sure you have at least 1/4 of an inch underneath your amp when you bolt it down to allow more air flow to keep it cooler. Be sure to keep the top and sides of it clear of any objects.

Maybe tonight we'll fly so far away... We'll be lost before the dawn...
