hey i need to return a game at wal-mart supercenter, has anyone done this before? can i still return it even though i opened it and played it? it is rome total war and my friend got it for me and his dad paid it with a credit card so would i need his card to return it? or can i even return it? or could i exchange it for another game or get store credit or what? plz help i want to get world of warcraft as soon as possible
well, i'm returning my game is because i didn't like it..... and it also cost 50 dollars like world of warcraft so.... if they can only give me another copy then that isn't even useful to me
You can always try. Just say you are not satisfied with the quality of the game. Ask them politely. If they refuse say i would like to see your manager. When they go and get them run away and ask your parents to return it for you.
well you see there is the problem, i kind of said it in my original post, remember my friend's dad paid for it with a credit card so i can't get cash back, maybe just store credit or exchanging, and if i say the game won't run on my computer how would another computer game work
If all else fails, you can sell it to EB as preowned; though you won't get the full price back, you'll be closer to affording WoW than with the game sitting in some trashcan.

Seriously, just do what King recommended. Tell them that your friend's father purchased it and he didn't know your PC specs. Tell them that the game doesn't run on your comp and you want something else.
if the copy your friends dad bought isnt opened yet than i am pretty sure that you can just take it back and they will give you a walmart gift card. that is what has happened to me before last christmas and i didnt have any trouble.
Think not disdainfully of death, but look on it with favor; for even death is one of the things that Nature wills.
Dude, do what I said, don't question it, it works, I've done it multiple times. Works really good for buying/burning/returning a game.
If you want to get fancy you can shrink wrap it back up. I was lucky enough that my mother was working at a place where she could shrink wrap stuff anytime I wanted her to. It works without it but it really helps.

IN EB they give u only like $5 per console game and $10 for PC game, which then they sell for $20 console and $30 pc.
