just a thought, i have seen a few differnt ad's on TV about the old Nintendo system, are they re-releasing it or somthing?

No, Kida. Nintendo has been re-releasing old NES games on the Gameboy Advance and the second series is coming out on October 24th, which is probably the advertisement you saw.
