Eagles Lose Buckhalter for Season..

Wow, the hits just keep on coming for my Eagles. In the preseason game last night against the Ravens, in which we dominated most of the game, Correl Buckhalter injured his knee in a non-contact sitation while running the ball.

It appeared as though his leg just gave out while running, and as it turns out, the tendon that connects his knee-cap was torn while making a cut. He will need surgery to fix it, and Andy Reed said that he is 90% sure it will be a season ending injury.

How fucking great it that? We only have Reno Mahe and McCoo as backup RBs at this point, but there is already talks of signing free agent Dorsey Levens, whom had a few year stint with the Eagles 4 seasons back, or so. He is most likely the best fit we can have as an immeditae backup to Westbrook.

That injury hurts, since Buck can hit the hole very well, and he definitely was a major part of the Eagles offense. Only time will tell with this Eagles team, but as of right now, things aren't going as smoothly as planned.

yes... i saw it happen on TV Eagles are my favorite time to. But still have some great players, T.O., westbrooke, thrash, pinkston, a great running back, hopfully donovan will feel the need to be more accurate in his passing.

Well, Thrash was dropped in the off-season. Also, I know the Eagles have plenty of good players, but Buckhalter was a pretty big part of our offensive strategy.. I don't think it is a matter of Donovan "feeling" like being more accurate, I think it is more of a confidence thing, which he has more than enough of now.
