The Matrix Online

I've signed up to be a Beta tester just the other day. I saw previews for it when I bought Matrix Revolutions. Looks pretty good, it's a combination of MMORPG with Action/Adventure thrown in. You can upgrade your abilities or change your abilities for other abilities. You can also "hack" the Matrix to weaken enemies (sorta like Enfeebling magic in EverQuest) or enhance yourself or your allies (like Strengthening magic in EverQuest). When it comes to the area you're confined in, it is the ENTIRE city from the Matrix series (which I don't think has a name or a specific location). All in all, I suggest signing up for Beta testing.

First off, I am a huge fan of the original Matrix, and am rather partial to the 2nd and 3rd as well.

But this game doesn't seem fun to me. It just screams "bad mmorpg" to me.
