This can be interpreted two ways, one of which is against the rules here, and the other is not. If you burn them to make a copy, it's not illegal as long as the copy is purely for backup purposes and not to give to someone else. PSX games can be copied on a regular CD-R/RW drive while PS2 games require a DVD-R/RW drive. PSX games do not often have good, if any, copy protection so they should be cake. PS2 games, however, often have strong anti-piracy software and you would have to mod your PS2, voiding warranties, in order to play them. Xbox games can also be copied on a DVD-R/RW drive but you would also need to mod it in order to play them. Gamecube games are are a media format that is not available to the public bso you are out of luck in that respect. If you are wanting to burn a game from files on your computer, that is illegal, so you'll have to look elsewhere.

Or how about just buying the games like an honest human being? Damn, that's a novel concept.

Actually RS, three ways... you forgot the ignite and enjoy bit.

Yeah, really dude, trying to make copies of games is incredibly lame.

That's what Taco X does, and learning that bit of information is what drove me from "kinda disliking him" to "loathing him with every ounce of willpower I can summon."

I refuse to pirate PS2, PSX, and Xbox games. I get nostalgic sometimes and I end up buying some old stuff for the PSX. But don't do that crap Draco...it'll all come back to bite you in the ass...

You know he MAY just be creating back-ups of his games in case something were to happen to the originals.

When I read the title of this thread, I actually wondered why someone would want to burn games... As in... smoke, fire, melting, burning them. I'm a dope.

Disturbingly enough, that's what I was thinking too.

I was just hoping they were burning Tomb Raider games.

I know how that goes.

I might not be sleeping more than 4 hours tonight (today).
