Sides...

I was thinking to myself about politics again (yes, I know, I have no political knowledge...I'll admit to it). I'm, of course, bisexual. But Catholic. Well, I don't think I fall into any political party when I think about it. Liberals support abortion and things I don't agree with, but they support the equal treatment of people, which I agree with. Conservatives support the death penalty (a lot of them) which I'm against. But they don't support gay marriage (sorry guys, it's all about my beliefs) which I agree with. But in the end, they don't really side with me in much. I feel like I'm caught in the middle of the war between two extremes in which I can't get out. I'm buried and I want out. I'm on no ones' side because no one is on my side. If I had to choose, I'd say Conservative...yet, I would say none. Anyone else in this predicament?

Yeah, don't worry about picking sides. Just go with what you believe. When you get out into the voting public weigh what the candidates are for and against, rather than just going with them because they are liberal or conservative.

I think you should just vote for a 3rd party, they can suit your needs, who the hell says that you HAVE to vote democrat or republican, up here in Canada we have multiple parties, I think its lame to vote for only one of two parties, because so many people like you get trapped into something you dont want.

I don't know what makes someone a liberal or a conservative, I just go by who I agree with the most. I tend to almost always agree with conservatives and rarely ever agree with liberals.

Well. I'm gay. So I'd have to say liberal.

Me and K_A plan to get married some day.
