Xbox does have great graphics but playstation has had some great games in the past. I would think about getting an Xbox but I do not want to support Bill Gates anymore than what I have to. All that I will buy is OS's and an occasional game such as Halo 2 when that comes out. But the only thing that Microsoft has over Sony is Money and somewhat technology I think. But other than that if Sony had more of those two things the playstations would be great.
I use to be a shoe shinner now I sip Aunt Jamima, I go to sleep in Europe and wake back up in China. CLUB 977 The 80's Channel!!!!! -winamp radio is heaven on earth
XBOX is better. Bill Gates bought the right to like all of PS2 games. GTA III and Vice City are like a billion times batter on XBOX.
Umm their r a lot more PS2 games then GTA and their is no way in hell a lot of the PS2 video game companies would sell rights to Bill Gates for Shitbox.
Notice how all XBox fans are dazzled by better graphics?
Seems like all they care about is eye candy.
I dont care for graphics, Xbox has better Multiplayer games than PS2, and that is why I put NGC in 2nd, cuz it has fun multiplayer games... if you like to play solo games go for PS2 I guess(tho Xbox is coming out with badass games)

X-Box has fun online multiplayers game, but there aren't any that really interest me. There aren't (m)any games that can be played multiplayer with only one unit.
NGC/GCN/WhateverTheFuckYouWantToAbbreviateTheDamnGameCubeA s has great games you can play with one unit. I bought one mainly because of this.
PS2 is definitely the king as far as single player games go, but the GameCube and XBox are catching up (I think the GC's a bit quicker at it). Xbox is almost solely focused on multiplayer gaming now, so I doubt we'll see many more RPGs on it. Jade Empire sounds cool, though.
I from this point on refuse to participate in discussions about which system is better for two reasons.
1. You people are insanely fucking stupid. Besides Strorm and Acer, none of you have given a real reason as to why you like something, probably because you're all under the age of 16 and, sadly, have yet to learn how to type a small paragraph without going insane. It's not worth putting up a real reason to get flamed with falsified rumors and unrealistic opinions as to why I am wrong or stupid.
2. I think what I think, and I have expressed it enough times before. I like Xbox the best. I play multiplayer games a lot, and love shooters. But that's me. Everybody has a right to their opinion, and like their own kind of stuff. So fuck these threads. Stop making 'em and let it go.
I don't really understand how this thread came into fruition. Gamecube has sold more consoles worldwide than XBox (although, XBox has sold more in America and Europe), so what makes it a "titan" and the Gamecube not?
All three consoles have their merits and flaws either way. It all boils down to personal preference. I prefer Nintendo franchises over anything else, and I happen to think Nintendo does a more professional job of designing their games than the other two companies focus on. PS2 certainly has a much larger library, and basically has something for everyone. Xbox has fantastic online support and is the most powerful of the three.
I prefer the Gamecube because I can always count on the games being worth my time and money. PS2 is a bit of a gamble sometimes (Devil May Cry? Kickass. Devil May Cry 2? Suckass.) and the XBox honestly doesn't have anything besides multi-platform games that interest me, and I don't give a rats ass about online support.
Either way, I'm still confused as to why the XBox is a "titan" and the Gamecube isn't. Maybe it's because the XBox is the size of a buick...
