I know running reduces your effective block % by like, a LOT. Does anyone know if walking has any effect on your effective block % or no?

running reduces by 1/3rd, no not 33%

25% if you would normally have 75% (max)

Ah. Kind of cool, but be hard to toggle run/walk fast enuff to actually catch a zon. Maybe I can find an actual use for that...
