history research project

I have 2 do a research project for world history with at least 2500 words, on the theme of Exploration, Encounter, and Exchange in History. Anything meaningful in world history that applies to these themes works so does ne1 have ne suggestions. This is due nov. 17th so i have some time...lol...of course knowing me ill end up doing it on nov 16th or the morning of nov 17th...if i do it at all.
