Setting the party start point:

Go into Layer 3 (Event Layer) and right-click. Choose "Place Party Start Position."

--------------

Making events:

Event Layer, again. Right-click where you want the event and click "New Event." Set event triggers and such as desired.

------------------

Some Quick Notes:

--Notice how the king doesn't need a handler for talking to him before he says "sorry". That's because, logically, it's impossible to do so. If it IS possible, make sure to handle that!

--Yes, Page 2 on "Trigger Guy to Walk" is required. It's so the trigger doesn't trigger over and over again!

well theres 2 ways you do this:

1. bring up the 3rd layer again and right click where u want to the hero to enter and select "place Teleport Event" then you come up with a screen where you select where you want to reappear

2. now if u want to make it look good (say like make the screen zoom in as you enter and zoom out as you leave) after you have made the teleporting event double click on it to bring up the event editor for it and where it says " <>hide screen: use default" right click that and select edit you then can choose what happens when you enter now click ok after u have chosen it and do the same for "show Screen: use delfault"

hope this helps you out a little bit more

Hmm.. you beat me to it! The only thing I should add is that you can change the default close/open screen in the Database on the System tab. It's at the bottom, under Map Transitions.
