Alrighty, I saw this at KMart today, priced at $20. I've read IGN's review of the game, but I want second opinions. How is it? I thought the last game, Hail To The King, was pretty badass. Am I gonna like this one or not?

Well...I suppose I'll just buy it anyway. Evil Dead (featuring Bruce Campbell, of course) priced at 20 bucks is just too good to pass up.

EDIT - Alrighty, I picked it up and have invested about an hour into the game, and I have to say that it's pretty cool. It's a damned good thing that it's priced at $20 bucks though, because I would be a little upset if it had been more expensive.

So, here's the gist of the game. Ash finds himself yet again fighting his way through hordes of undead roaming the streets of Dearborn (his hometown) after some quack scientist has the gall to utter passages from the Necronomicon on a local television show. The gameplay consists of running around and killing ungodly amounts of zombie freaks. The voice acting is pretty good (with Bruce Campbell being the only exceptional actor in the bunch) and it's a genuinely funny game. Lots of badass one-liners and tons of gore. Ash's chainsaw has unlimited fuel, and ammo for the good old Boomstick is pretty frequent. There are a number of other weapons to pick from as well as a list of pretty badass spells that Ash can unleash upon the undead legions. This game is just a fairly straightforward action/adventure game with a ton of gore and wiseass jokes.

For 20 bucks, I'd tell any fan of Evil Dead to go out and pick it up poste haste! If you're not a fan of the series, it's still a pretty entertaining and straightforward game. If you go into it expecting a revolutionary new product, you'll come away very disappointed. If you just want to fucking obliterate an army of zombie psycopaths, you will be entertained.
