I haven't played D2 for a about 2 months, and I think I can easily live without it.
I started playing the game first day it hit the store, and same for Diablo 1 and Hellfire...

The game can't capture me anymore. PvM it is too easy. It was fun when I played a character without transfer, no rush. But I've tried that in all 7 classes. PvP wise...I don't like most of the clan, and I used to duel anyone without Hex.

But again...most of my friends who used to play D2x quit already, so...

If you have to run a bot to play a game, you are addicted.

Money is more additive than the game, just start selling your items, and it will keep go on and at the end you will sell your whole account, bang you got nothing left.

Yes, I was a 300% D2Holic, I remember skipping school once or twice to come play D2(when I was getting godly). Shame on me. But the only way to quit is to become super godly, then delete everything, then try to play again, and you get so pissed that you are back to being a newb, that you never wanna play again. Worked for me, and then sold d2 + exp for 20 buxs to some kid at school. I think I hear it calling my name at night though
