I'm going off to college next year, I'm thinking of joining the Army ROTC program, thought i'm not yet convinced. Can you guys gimme some suggest as to why or why shouldn't I join the ARMY ROTC? BTW, I have the money to pay for college so money is not a factor here

Me and some friends were thinking of joining the Marines.
I dunno about Army ROTC...
My Grandfather was in the Navy Seals (he helped to make the Widow Maker jet or some name like that) and he said that the military teaches you a lot of discipline, gets you in shape, etc. That's why I'm thinking of joining the Marines.
Go Marines!

Maybe tonight we'll fly so far away... We'll be lost before the dawn...

Yeah, i got the same dilemma, i want to joint he military, i just dont got anything better to do with my life but i wonder if i sould join the air force or the army (not marines or navy, i hate ships), but im kinda more interested in the army since you dont have to operate that kind of equipment as in the air force, and it would be ugly to wreck a 50 million dollars f16 =p

And you can end up on ships in the air force sometimes.

You can pilot helos in the army, though. Best of both worlds.

How many times do I have to apologize for that man? For fuck's sake!
The Army is cool, I may join the Reserves just so that it wouldnt interfer with my college / work and stuff like that and they're pretty cool. Lots of divisions and good funding, and they help citizens rebuild their towns, give food, etc, instead of just killing people all the time.

Just remember, the purpose of battle is not to die for your country, but to make the other fucker die for his.
