I got off of work at 7:30, before I had gotten off of work my ex-girlfriend called me to see if I wanted to go to the club. Granted, I can't dance but I figured I'd just go get drunk. I called Kyle to see if he wanted to go, since he'd never been to a club and he said yes.
After work I went to Kyle's house. We were going to leave at 10 so we had some time to kill. We began playing World of Warcraft and getting our pregame drinking on. Nothing too exciting happened, drank 4 - 5 beers, played some music, smoked a cigarrete or two..the usual.
Around 10 we were picked up by my friend Cameron and my ex, Chrissy. We drove 20 minutes to the Club in South Bend and were dropped off. ID was required because it was 21 and over night. As soon as we walked in the music was blaring and there were several people on the ground floor dancing.
I wanted to get the ball rolling so I bought a round of 6 shots, 3 for me and 3 for Kyle. (Kyle was broke so I had him covered) After we took our shots, we explored the club a little. Downstairs was where the party was at, but it was too crowded. We proceeded to go back to the ground floor and then upstairs. There was a bar on each floor and upstairs seemed like the place to be.
I walked over and bought two shots for myself. Then we bought two pitchers of rum and coke and 10 more shots, 5 each. Pretty soon our friend Brittney showed up so we walked outside and got her.
By this time I was feeling pretty good. We got into an argument about a girl on one of the dance floors.. Was she black or Hispanic? I took charge and went downstairs to find out. She was definitely black so I went back to report.
Chrissy and Brittney went downstairs and began to dance, while Kyle and I got a couple more drinks and conversated.
This is where my memory starts to get hazey. The next thing I know everyone is gone and I'm being escorted outside by one of the bouncers, I think it was maybe an hour or so later. I told him my tab was still open at the upstairs bar and I needed to grab my debit card. Luckily he let me go back and get it, but soon after I found myself outside in the cold and rain. My jacket was inside, somehow I had lost my cellphone, my wallet was inside, (Kyle was holding onto it so I didn't spend a shitload of money) and so were all of my friends.
I grabbed a cab to go somewhere so I wouldn't have to be outside anymore. She ended up driving me to Corbee's bar. I didn't want to be here, but I didn't have any cash for the fare in the first place so she kicked me out. Once again I was in the cold and rain.
It must have been 30 degrees outside and I was freezing my balls off in the thin shirt I was wearing with no jacket. I went inside of the bar and asked for a drink. The bartended declined and said that I had too much. I must of been obviously drunk since I hadn't even drank at this bar.
I wasn't sure what to do now. I was stranded in a big city with no ride, no cellphone, no wallet in freezing cold temperatures without ample clothing. So I did what I really did not want to do..... I called my parents. It was the only number I could remember since I had no cell.
45 minutes later at 2 am, my dad picked me up. I don't remember if he was pissed off or not but I was glad to be in a warm car.
.........
This morning my mother told me that Brittney called at 4 am and said that they had been looking for me for hours. She also said she was pissed off at Kyle and wasn't going to give him a ride home. So I don't know if Kyle is still in South Bend, whether he got a cab, or what he ened up doing. I lost all of my shit and I can't remember anyone's cellphone number to call and find out what happened.
So yeah.. that's my story.
TL;DR - Don't get smashed at a club and lose contact with the people you're with.
Inb4 cool story bro.
