KG to the Celtics

I don't know how many of you are interested in basketball, a little too few it seems, which is quite sad because basketball is my life, but recently Kevin Garnett was traded to the Boston Celtics for Ryan Gomes, Gerald Green, Al Jefferson, Theo Ratliff, Sebastian Telfair, and a 2009 first round draft pick. That's 6 people for one guy!

Now, the Celtics have 3 all-stars in Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, and KG. This seriously moves Boston up to Eastern Conference contenders. The East sucks and KG will DOMINATE anybody down-low in the East. Seriously, who can stop him? Shaq? He's aging. Fast. Big Z from Cleveland? Not likely.

It will be interesting to see what the Celtics can do. I wouldn't say they'll come out of the East, but they have a chance.

Your thoughts?

Have any of your favorite teams made some big-time offseason moves?

Man, the fucking Celtics are going to be sick this year, well atleast they hope so, their lineup is staggering and if I was playing them I'd definately be scared. Though, my O-town Magic might pull a few upsets again this year, they always seem to come up just a bit short

The Sixers are projected last in the conference for the upcoming year, and for good reason. The Celtics however, are going to be great. They have 3 legit all-stars, albeit they aren't in their "prime" anymore, they are still kickass! They should be fun to watch at least.

Are you sure the Pacers aren't ranked lower than them? We are going to suck balls this year.

My team should be the worst, the KINCKS. HA they are such a joke, as long as Thomas is around. Until then we have to depend on Starberry and Francis, terrible. The celts will be decent but allen is older now and im not sure if all of them can be passers. To many allstars is not a good thing, but we will see.

Allen is a shooter, Pierce is a play-maker, and KG can rebound their shots and put them back up. I bet they have great chemistry.

Gruesome, you do know that Francis signed back with the Rockets, right? He doesn't play for NY anymore heh.

Honestly it was sad to leave see KG leave Sota. Now both my favorite players have been traded, but I'll continue to root for KG and AI.
