Gay Marriage: The Poll.

In lieu of Wallows' Gay Marriage thread, I felt an official poll was needed. What do the Zelaronians really think of it? For, Against, or Indifferent?

Personally, I'm all for it. It's my personal belief that someone shouldn't be ridiculed and hated just because they happened to have fallen in love with someone of the same gender, nor should they be denied the rights that straight couples get.

Surprisingly, I'm for it. It's not like polygamy, which is cool but wrong. If they have a genuine love, then, as Jessifer stated, they shouldn't be denied rights that straight people are given.

Taken from Wallow's thread:

"I'm not for it, nor am I against it. I think people should have the right to do as they please marriage-wise. Why should we deny two people in love the right to marriage? Because the bible says homosexuality is a sin?

Well, I guess you'd have to believe in the bible then. Oops."

You have no right to deny two people in love from getting married.

I am for it in the sense that if they are in love, they deserve to be able to tie the knot.

They derseve the right to wed.

I'm for equality of all people and therefore for the legalization of gay marriage. I'm also against anyone thinking they have a right to tell someone else what to do or what not to do when it has nothing to do with them.

For.

I say let them do as they please myself. No one should have the right to tell others how they should live. It's their life let them do as they please with it.

Hmm, there are no 'Against' votes. Me thinks Wallow opted not to vote.

Nahh, I voted indifferent. I believe gays have a right to do what they want with civil unions and such, but leave marriage for straights (if that is a proper word to use in this thread =/ )

What would gay marriage even do to you?
I am for it because it dosen't affect me at all so why should we deny them.

I'm not "For" it in the sense that I'll push for it, nor will I be outraged if it isn't legalised, but I'm not against it, either. Another Indifferent. Doesn't affect me in any way, directly or indirectly, so, really, I couldn't care less, though it's nice for people who are that way inclined to be allowed to marry.
