Best RTS game I've seen as of yet. Prevents those koreans from being cheap bitches with bitch tactics. Super Weapons? Yes. Effective to the point of worth having more than one? No. Ultimate RTS that requires strategy and brains above korean tactics.
Hellz yes that tactic owns. I like when the comp is on supreme they actually play like a skilled human . At least when they are using units. Kinda reminds me of Star Trek New Worlds where teh AI uses extreme tactics and keeps its artillery at maximum range.
Well of course you exceed them WW. Humans have, quite literally, limitless potential. I have seen people who do some amazing shit on impulse or quick thought in games where being a pro is a hell of an achievement. Conflict series game 2 to be specific (that would be Freespace 2). I have seen people do shit with their fighters that is nearly impossible for a normal gamer to do. Like the Sunny Side Up manuever. You need maximum mouse sensitivity and control as well as some amazing reflexes. The SSU is when someone who is using a bomber quickly somersaults around and drops a triple dual fired payload of Helios Bombs on the fighter that is hounding their ass. This manuever is best done when near a capital ship because the resulting explosion will damage it as the fighter/s behind the bomber get obliterated by 6 huge explosions. This manuever has been done in 2 seconds flat leaving no room for the fighter pilots to evade. This is just one thing I have seen done in a game. Another manuever which was actually done in a FPS game called GunZ known as the Ghost Step is also a highly complex manuever. Also executed in 2 seconds.
Point being AI don't grow and learn in games so without the ability lost to Star Trek New Worlds (The AI actually copies your manuevers and saves them in it's cache and quickly creates tactics to counter) you eventually will be able to beat any AI no matter how hard it seems at first.
