Ive been using 2k3 for three days now. Ive been getting the hang of it to but im having a problem
with movies. i made an opening movie with just a picture in the background and a story over the top.
i made it with windows movie maker and converted it to AVI formatting. i cann import it to rpg 2k3 and
select under th play movie event but everytime i test play it crashes whenever the movie is supposed to
play.

any help would really be aprecciated

I had to reply to this because I've been running tests with the file I'm using right now. I noticed that if you start a game out with a movie (Auto-Start) it will not play, garanteed. Now if you have other events running before that it will work just fine even when I change areas then put on Auto-Start. Now what you're saying is that it stops playing altogether and closes out of test mode giving you an error message, right. If this is so then you need to backup the file you're working on. Uninstall the program, check registry for anything left on behind. Reinstall, if that doesn't work I'm not sure what could be wrong.
