Question Could someone help me?

Okay, I just started making a game in RPG maker xp, but I'm kind of confused. In the begining, I would like to have text that reads,

<> Message: " Welcome to the Bermuda worlds, I see your a Vampire."
<> Message: " Your name is Kage, yes?"
<> Show choices: Yes
: [Yes] handler:
<> Message: " I see, and you search for the Bermudian castle also?"
<> Message: "you realize, it will be a hard journy?"
<> Message: " Indeed, so, what are you waiting for. Go."
<> Message: "Oh, and remember, a little help is always needed."
end

But, every time I do, it always messes up.

and, whenever I have a chest, you take the item, but then you can take it again! I'd also like to know, I have a sprite has an enemy, Its a big tree monster, but whenever you fight it, it doesn't go away!

That's all.

Is the text event an Auto-start Event?

If so, then at the end of the event you need to put in "End Event"... unless you've already done that. In which case...

*SUMMONS BLUECUBE*

Haven't done that for a while. And I was bored, so what the hey!

---

The chest question I think is answered by way of preconditions and switches... but I always mess that up, soo...

Monsters who won't disppear. Is this as in:

Hero touches/talks to Monster. Battle begins. By killing monster they disappear?

If so, let me remember how... erm, switches and preconditions?

You'd need the "Monster Battle" event wit the custom defeat handler. In the victory part, have Switch [0001] or whatever turned on. Leave the defeat blank. Then the second page of the event would need to precondition of Switch [0001] ON, and be ENTIRELY BLANK - ie no picture, no events, nothing. And you might as well set that bit to action key.

If you need more detail, then I, or someone else, will go into it. I'm just a bit busy atm, so...

The switches don't work on the enemy though, do you know if the monster could turn into a person instead?
