Grand Theft Auto IV on Xbox 360

On October 16th, 2007, Grand Theft Auto IV will be released for the Xbox 360, making it the first time a GTA game since GTA III has come out on day one for a console other than the PS2. Not only that, but Microsoft and Rockstar Games will be teaming together to create episodic content for the game on Xbox Live that will be exclusive to the Xbox 360.

Sam Houser, executive producer and founder of Rockstar Games is quoted in the game's official press release saying, "Through Xbox Live, we have a unique opportunity to reach out to our audience in new ways." No other details about the game were given, but Peter Moore did show off a nifty GTA IV tattoo during the Microsoft press event.

No other details have been given, but as it's the same group working on it that produced GTA 3 and GTA: Liberty City Stories, people believe that GTA IV will be set in Liberty City.

So much for GTA: Europe.

I'm replying in here because it's slightly relevant.

Rockstar have announced that they are releasing GTA: Vice City Stories on the PSP later one this year.

This "exclusive episodic content" sounds awfully a lot like the scam Bethesda's pulling with Oblivion add ons.
