Now, the forum remembers what posts you've read, even when you leave and come back. This means that you can visit when you know you don't have much time, read the threads that most interest you, then come back later and read the rest. In order to clear the newness of threads that you don't want to read, choose "Mark Forums Read" from the Quick Links in the navbar.
On another note, the vb3.5 forum subscription works a bit different, so it looks like I'll need to devise a new mod to filter out new posts. In the mean time, you can always enter a forum or catagory you have no interest in, and click the individual "Mark this forum read" links (the grey square icon next to "new thread" on Synthesis, or from the "Forum Tools" on other styles) to remove new threads in that forum or catagory from the list.
