I got bored
Reply

So I made gloves out of tin foil + duct tape. Each one's fingers can bend AND I could touch my lamp for 10 seconds before i felt heat. Just thought I'd let you all know.

The fingers are VERY stiff, and there are still some jagged edges of foil and bits of exposed tape. It would probably be a painful experience.

So now you've got a helmet and a pair of gloves made from tin foil and duck tape...

Why not go the whole hog and design some body armour??!

If you make the whole suit of armor you could run through fire and stuff.

I believe it's the ship of Thor, Supreme Commander of the Azgaurd Fleet, from Stargate SG-1, and yeah, the angle of the shot could be better.

If the gloves are $7, then the whole body suit would be a lot more than $26. I'm visualizing ratios... .... ..... I'd say it wouldn't be less than $100 for the whole suit just on material.

If it worked I'd buy one. Although instead of reflecting the heat it would more likely cook you like a potatoe. And the duck tape on the inside would melt, causing you lots of pre-death pain, I'd say most likely in the genital and eye areas.
