Popes is dying?
Reply
Posted 2005-04-01, 12:06 PM
I was just watching fox news, they say they are getting conflicting reports over weither or not hes dead. They say theres a good chance. All cnn.com says his heath has gotten very bad, and that his breathing is shallow.

It looks very bad for any fan of religion. I feel very sad that it may be the pope's time to go, I mean the poor man has had lots of trouble in his life. Lets see..

2002: Arthritis of the knee forced several appearances to be canceled.

1996: Inflamed appendix removed.

1994: Breaks leg in a fall, undergoes hip replacement surgery.

1993: Dislocates right shoulder in fall at the Vatican.

1992: Operation for benign tumor on colon.

1981: Shot in abdomen and hand by Turkish gunman in St. Peter's Square, later hospitalized again for infection linked to the wounds.

He has done a great job, and is a very smart man, he'll definately get the express pass to heaven.

He did suffer needlessly. I'll give that he was a smart man and knew a lot about what he did. But everyone should know what I don't like about him. But yes, if anyone should go to heaven, he ought to, despite the fact at hand as to why I dislike him. Gotta admire the man.

Personally, I would prefer to go on "suffering" rather than dying. But, yes. While I'm not a Catholic, or not even a fan of religion, I've heard many great things about the pope, and it's quite sad what's happening to him.

Off of www.cnn.com

"Pope John Paul II's breathing is becoming shallow and several of his major organs -- including his kidneys and heart -- are growing weaker, the Vatican said today. "This evening or this night, Christ will open the doors to the Pope," said the vicar of Vatican City, in a rosary service at St. Peter's Square, where thousands of people were holding vigil."

I'm not going to pray for him, since I don't pray, but I certainly do wish he goes in peace.

He will. HE went through septic shock, and one of the news stations said this causes a very painless death.
