Anybody know of any good player run WoW servers? I'm trying to google some, but I'm coming up empty-handed.

No, Blizzard doesn't care at all if people make private servers and take away their money.

Ok? UO is old. It's really old. It's really really old.

WoW isn't even a year old.

There isn't even a good emulator out so player run servers will be awhile. If someone would even pay. It will take alot of resources to run a player run server. Considering how many servers blizzard runs just for one realm.

Actually, I hear it's quite the contrary. A friend of mine just got a server running (though only a few people play on it), and he said that the program's actually smaller and easier to set up than UOX.

He said there was a list somewhere that he saw (I'm assuming it was when he was looking for the emulator.) of servers, but he's unable to locate it now. I'll distribute it to anyone who's interested should he find it.

It was a simple yes or no answer, smartasses.

I wanted to know if there was an actual clause in the ToS. I never cared to read it.

It's most likely addressed in the WoW ToS. I don't have the game, so I can't check, but UO had it, and

Consider that EQ and DaoC still don't have reliable emulators.

UO is just.. easy to manipulate.

They ALL suck. They don't even have parties, or quests or anything essential to the game done.

Even RO had 3 servers to run... L2 also had 3 servers to run. So one would think a game like wow would need a couple servers to run. On an extremely high end box or seperate boxes for the game to be fun with over 10 people.
