well actually the sword does take some skills to use when playing against higher level people. i mean really i cannot count the number of people who are overconfidant with the sword and try to charge me from the front. Usually they kill me but if i have any plasma grenades they are screwed because i usually stick them.
Think not disdainfully of death, but look on it with favor; for even death is one of the things that Nature wills.
If it were that easy then that game would have never existed. I know titus doesn't get owned like that on a regular basis. The guy got the sword and dominated the game. Halo 2 is not fun because of this.
Once again, this is why I prefer Halo 1. Anyone can get the sword and dominate a game in Halo 2.
Hardly..
Not just anyone can make the team I was with (And I knew all my teammates, so I know we aren't noobs) look like fish in a barrel going against a team of shotguns... The sword is decent, and of course there are times when this will happen, but this was not a normal occurrence. This was much different.
The sword really isn't that good, unless you are playing Midship.
i dont think the sword is much of an advantage in higher lvl games... ppl know how to kill the sword carryer
Out in this cold hearted world is a warm sense that comes from only one. It is true cause his name states what kind of person he is. With honor comes glory and with glory comes GLORY GAMER
If you've ever played head to head people usually don't even get the sword. I usually murder the sword guy with a Plasma Pistol/Battle Rifle.
Of course Magnums(pretty much with anything), Sniper Rifles, and Rocket Launchers. None of which midship has. When the sword guy is in his little group(which is usually how he survives so long and gets that high amount of kills) then simply grenade the group. There are frags in midship, but I've been learning more lately about both types of grenades. I'd have to say that 10% - 15% of my most recent kills have been grenades, whereas I used to hate it when I was fragmented by them. They rule when you have a shitty weapon, and in groups.
Anyhow, my point being that the sword guy is far from invincible.
