Zelda Review Project

Over the course of the last few years, I have written a large number of reviews for the handful of forums I frequent. The majority of which have been videogame articles, each one taking me up to two, possibly three hours to commit to text. I spend so much time on this stuff because I genuinely enjoy writing reviews, and I suspect that others genuinely enjoy reading them.

That said, I've decided to attempt a fairly large project during what is obviously going to be a fairly slow first and second quarter of this year. This November, what is easily one of the biggest games of the year, if not the biggest, is being released on the Nintendo Gamecube. Zelda 2005. (That's not the title of the game, just one of the widely accepted codenames; the other biggest ones being "Zelda Reborn" which I don't really like, and "Mature Zelda" which I won't even dignify by explaining what a friggin' retarded name that is).

For any of you who have seen the latest trailer, or have seen any of the handful of screenshots that Nintendo has made us privy to, you'll understand why this game is garnering so much hype. In light of the impending release of this game, I have recently taken it upon myself to own and complete the entire series. I am two games away from having the whole shebang finished off.

So, with the memories of these games still firmly emblazoned in my brain, I have decided that I will chronicle the entire series in an anthology of reviews. I will work my way through the franchise chronologically in terms of the release dates and provide my complete and unabridged opinion of the entire series. Hope you enjoy the results.

I'm looking forward to those reviews, I always enjoy reading your reviews and stories (like the legacy of kain thing you did a while back).

So which ones are you still missing?

Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons for Gameboy Color. I've got both games, I just haven't started them yet. I need to finish Metroid Fusion, Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy: Dawn of Souls first.

Well, after doing three of these things in three nights, I'm going to take a slight break to write up a review for RE4.
