Argentina stole the gold medal from Paraguay in a match played a few minutes ago. This is their first ever Olympic gold medal in Men's Soccer. The final score, 1-0. Argentina had numerous attempts on goal, but they only capitalized on a Rosales cross which Tevez tapped in. Paraguay plays really dirty, one play the guy should have gotten a red card (ejection) for elbowing Tevez intentionally in the face. Paraguay received a total of 7 yellow cards, and 2 red cards. The first send off was when Martinez intentionally back elbowed Killy behind the play. The second was an intentional hand ball by an offensive Paraguay player intended to go into the goal. The offense was a yellow card, but he already had one, and 2 yellows=1 red. Paraguay was just shut down basically. Outclassed even, with few shots on goal. They hurt themselves more with those ejections. It was easy in the last few minutes for Argentina to play keepaway when it was 11 vs. 9. Argentina kept knocking on the door, and the keeper for the opposing team had many saves, as well as players blocking a whole bunch of shots. Wahoo, my team kicked ass. They are going places, and may be a favorite in the World Cup.
