Talk to yourself?

Yes, I do...

Working in the pot room for 9 hours or more a day... Nobody is in there except me so there's nobody to talk to except... Myself. So I've begun talking to myself. *shrug* I dont answer myself or anything... Just talk to myself about favorite movies, bitches, etc. Or tell myself jokes, which I often crack up on... I am the funiest guy on Earth, afterall.

Maybe tonight we'll fly so far away... We'll be lost before the dawn...

I always talk to myself. Its funny because I am constantly explaining situations to myself that I obviously fully understand, but by talking to myself about it, it helps me really make sense of it and gives me a better understanding whether or not I should go ahead with what ever it was I was about to do. Its kind of like the great equalizer...

I ALWAYS socialize with myself. Afterall, what better person to talk to than yourself? Yourself is an ideal conversationalist.

When other people are around, sometimes I talk to myself. Otherwise, I don't.

I'll talk to myself, if only while working through an odd problem or something. "Well, I can't do THAT, it might cause an explosion, and if I do THAT OTHER THING, I won't be able to walk ever again... so I'll just do THIS.."

I'll talk to myself when I'm not sure about something, as titus said its sort of an equalizer, helps me string out the conflict, and help find the needed resolution. Yeah kuja's#1 thats funny, the best person to talk to would be myself.

I talk to myself about anything.
I'll be sitting there like,
"Yeah, I went out with Veronica last night... Dude, she was looking so fucking hot... Almost as soon as I saw her we started making out... We were fucking soon after... She likes anal man, it was wonderful..." Etc. Of course that's just off the top of my head, I've never had such a conversation with myself. Or such a date with anyone named Veronica.

Maybe tonight we'll fly so far away... We'll be lost before the dawn...

Yeah, we do. It scares people. We laugh at them. Ha.

I normally do when no one is around, though.

I sometimes talk myself through situations. If I don't, I usually end up talking to someone else about it, and end up figuring it out just by trying to explain it to someone else. It's simplest to just explain it to myself... for instance

"This is strange. The program seems to go off into the weeds when the begining of the state machine makes a computed jump after the ISR triggers just after setting the value for the program counter high register. The only thing that would make sense is that the ISR is clobbering the program counter high register, but it has code to save and....oh!"

That's the only way to get through my work, I swear. When there's nobody inside.. I've got nothing to do. I sometimes sing, but most of the time I just sing to this one kid. Weirdest freaking kid ever. He looks like an oompa loompa -- it freaks him out when I sing to him.

Other examples are when trying to pick up chicks, going on job interviews, apologies, etc. I always talk to myself to see what sounds the best... I think everyone talks to themselves in one form or another...

Ahh yes... Singing at work... My favorite songs to sing at work (LOUDLY):
The Darkness - I Believe In A Thing Called Love (complete with the high pitched voice)
Who Took The Cookie From the Cookie Jar?

I always, undeservingly, get weird looks at work.........
Like I'm crazy, or something...

Maybe tonight we'll fly so far away... We'll be lost before the dawn...

I go through alibi's and known upcoming arguments... it helps me to stay on top of my problems. So, not really... I don't pretend there are two of me... so my choice would be.

I talk outloud when no one is near a lot...
