Well hell... I started the patch last night, but it froze mid-way through.... so I'm sitting waiting for monsound to DL right now...

Anyhow, I used Medieval as char name in registration. I haven't decided on Dark Elf fighter or Orc fighter yet.

Slang can be very unhelpful.... is hauling ass (hopefully not the common slang because I don't give a damn how fast they move) a good thing or a bad?

Also, I think I'm pretty centered on Orc. Now I just have to decide whether to go Monk or Raider when I hit 20, but that's a while from now, so oh well. Anybody wanna give me directions from where I'll start to where I need to meet yall?

I'll probably stick around a bit and do some newbie quests tho. I'm not gonna be KOS in the Dark Elf town am I?

Hum i dont think you can kill player even in anytown and so far i have seen only 2 red (chaotic) and they wernt killing ppl.

No, no matter what race you are you can go into any town, so long as you don't PK.

And as for Orc Raider or Monk, Raiders are built more around force and defense, while Monks are built more around speed. I've heard that monks can attack crazy fast, which I think would be neat to see. I hear the Raider is similar to a Human Knight. But anyhow, it takes a fairly long while to hit level 20 as a fighter due to the fact it's hard to get new weapons at the beginning.

Oh and bob, you should do what I did. Level up to 7 or 8, get as much gold as you can (but buy basic equipment, like a weapon 1 step up from what you start with), and spend your sp points, you'll want your main power attack thing, weapon mastery, armor mastery, and maybe relax. After that you'll need 3000 gold to warp to the new continent, then from there get a world map and run to the Dark Elf city.

Xenn, where do you go to warp to the new continent. I've been wandering around the Elmore Map, and am just plain old confused.

Talk to Guardian whats-his-face, he's in the main village square. Choose the first option, then it'll say some korean text - 3000 aden. Click that and it warps you to a town that's about 20 minutes running distance from the DE city (be sure to get a world map there)
