Let me explain this trick:

Examine the URl
http://www.cnn.com@209.61.162.98/199....01/index.html

Notice the @. That searches for a specific share at the IP 209.61.162.98. So in all actuality it's searching for a share named www.cnn.com on the IP, instead of cnn.com... Clever trick =)
