I'd have thought he'd have been charged for assault rather than virtual theft. Either way, it sets an interesting precedent for future cases. Those who scam passwords to MMO's out of people, and then clean out their accounts, can now be charged for it and be sentenced? Yes, it's not legal, whichever way you look at it, but is it really an offence that merits three months in jail?

It does make you wonder if the assault was taken into accunt, even though it wasn't included in the charges brought against the defendant.
