Yeah, and armed revolution would certainly not be easy. Things like SWAT are basically anti-civilian tools to be used by the government. Tools with serious training. Plus, civilians cannot have technology good enough to even have a chance in an armed revolution, so there's that, too. Honestly if the elite didn't need us to stand on, they would probably just destroy us all.

Then why don't we get help from other countries, when we revolt? Aligning our "new" country(ies) with theirs would sound like a fair deal.
At this point, I wouldn't mind becoming a British colony, if it fixed things.
