Tool blended quite a few musical styles and is thus hard to categorize, the exact point I was trying to make with Bodom, nothing more.

Also, Trivium is/was Metalcore/Thrash Metal apparently, and is certainly more mainstream than what I typically listen to according to their Wiki entry.
