It's called the dead sea because pretty much nothing lives in it besides microscopic bacteria. Fish can't survive in it because it's so incredibly salty. 2nd saltiest body of water in the world if I remember right.
The Dead Sea is dying. Its main water source is being sapped by human consumption. GG.
