Wow so far the first book in this trilogy is badass. The books are "The Rage", "The Rite", and "The Ruin" they are written by Richard Lee Byers.

I am currently halfway through "The Rage" which takes place during the year of the rouge dragons, in which all the dragons in Faerun go crazy and start slaughtering everyone. Its a nice change from other Forgotten Realms books, and most of the fight scenes are large badass battles between the main characters and various species of dragons.

So far from what I read I can reccomend this series.
