Well they really don't limit you or anything, It's just I was using a wireless router and that causes problems because people not on the network with malicious intent could potentially log on from that and spread viruses and such. So when an outside source, (A stupid bitch on the floor below me) decided she was going to log in wirelessly from her room on my MAC address, her botnet infected computer got my ass quarantined. So I had to call the people and explain shit and they told me I was going to be on "monitored" status for X amount of time (I don't know how long X actually is) and during that period of time I was only allowed to use a direct connection from my wall to one system. The catch with that is, whenever you log onto the internet here, you have to login with your OSU username and password so they can varify that it's a student on the network. The Xbox is incapable of providing those details. So, I had to register it and shit and they allowed it's MAC address to connect without logging in. For some reason, Halo wouldn't connect though. Every other one of my games would. So now I hooked up the router again and I can log in on my computer and then my xbox is already signed in so it's all good.
