Tell him that while his pseudo-intellectual may impress those that the thread refers to that his vocabulary is not that impress in itself he uses the same large words more than once which is usually a sign that he only knows a few so he tries to use them as often they will fit so he sounds intelligent.

If all else fails you could just tell him that cursing sometimes is needed to express the severity of a situation. For example if it is cold out side it could be any where from 65 and below, however if you were to say it is FUCKING cold outside that is indicative that it is about 32 and below.
