my boss wanted me to buy some long lasting extremely clear and long range 2 ways walkie talkie, the current one we're using is called Cobra and its not doing a very good job in helping us get our jobs done(battery last like 5 hours and has lots of statics). So if anyone know and had lots experiences wid walkie talkie plz give me some brand and model i should be looking for. Price is limited, probably under 300bucks or so..

also, i've seen those walkie talkie that school/mall security use, are they good(seems like they r)? and are they in my price range?
