2) He leapt over an 8-foot wooden fence and ran past the guards and into the auditorium. They chased him through the crowd, but were unable to catch him before he climbed onto the stage. At Pantera/Damageplan concerts, it's a fairly regular thing for fans to jump onstage and surf the crowd. Dime and Vinnie are all about fan interaction, so they don't have any issues with them coming up onstage and jumping off. When the guy leapt up there, none of the bandmembers thought twice about it until he ran behind Dime and produced a gun from beneath his jacket. He shot Darrell five times through the head. Didn't even know what happened. He was in the middle of a solo and was dead before he hit the ground.

This is the worst news I've recieved all year. Dimebag Darrell was a legend, and didn't deserve this. I hope the son of a bitch responsible spends eternity in Hell, his flesh flayed from his body and his innards pulled free from his torso. Murdering, cowardly sack of shit. He deserves nothing short of eternal pain and suffering.
