I seen to remember from history, the US creating a little organization, then not joining it. And what a weedy little organization it turned out to be.

If US left, then I bet you anything Terrorism in the world, and the US mostly would rise. The Terrorist countries won't be as scared, because what can one country, even if it is US do to stop them???
