GameCube doesn't have a whole lot of RPGs but I will recommend a few other games for you...

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - Don't be fooled by the cartoony graphics and kiddy look, this game is as solid as they come. The only prole with it is that it's too easy. I didn't die once the whole time and wasn't even really challenged by anything except the sneaking part and the final boss since I didn't realize what to do.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes - Even if you have played Metal Gear Solid for Playstation already, this is still a great game. Silicon Knights (I'll get to their previous work later) really did a great job rebuilding the game in a new engine. The only issue I had at first was with the first person shooting controls because the GameCube doesn't have pressure-sensitive controllers and you have to use Y to lower your weapon instead of easing off the button.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem - This is the aformentioned Silicon Knights game that earned them respect from me. The story takes you through the account of several different individuals involved in stopping a plot to end the world by an ancient race of gods. The combat system is a bit odd but pretty realistic and the animations are awesome. Creepy sounds ache through the walls and it can sometimes be difficult to discern whether or not there are enemies present. This brings me to the main idea of this game: Sanity. As you encounter enemies and things throughout the game, your sanity will drop causing you to start seeing things like blood dripping from the ceiling or walls. I won't give away more than that because some of them are pretty creepy and subtle. Anyway, if you like scary shit then you'll probably love this game.

As for Starcraft: Ghost, rumors are it's being delayed a lot more and may even end up being cancelled so don't get your hopes up.
